Denise, you’re so cute! I feel exactly the same way. I don’t know HOW my clients do it! I think I am the #1 most awkward person in front of a camera. Anytime anyone tries to take my photo, I’m like EWWW get that thing away from me!!
Ok, seriously, I think it’s like photographers’ symptom…I’ve never understood how I can be perfectly comfortable behind the camera but when someone puts one in front of me then I freeze. Aaaah :[

Its so strange that all us photogrpahers feel the same way. I HATE when the camera is pointed my way, I get either mad or just plain silly! ha!

Hey girl – friend of the Lyon’s here,,, love your work. I saw you a while back on their blog and come and check in every once in a while but never leave comments. That has changed!!! You have what do you call…..the gift of lighting?? Love the lighting in each shot and I totally know how you feel about being in front of the camera. I very rarely make eye contact with that HUGE eye at the end of the camera. It’s intimidating for sure. Well,, keep up the great work,,, it’s highly enjoyed here on the Ellsworth side of the screen.

haha…i’m the SAME way. i always tell people, “that’s why i’m BEHIND the camera!” lol but it does make me “feel” for those who hate it but still do it for the ones they love b/c it makes them happy to have pics. melts my heart!
