Its 1am and I’m attempting to write..this will most likely not end well . On with my convictions!… So lately I have been feeling that I’ve been in a funk of sorts. Creatively ,spiritually… on and on. First thing was first, I needed to feed my soul with more of God & I’ve been doing that! Secondlyyyy I needed to start shooting things for myself, that sounds weird buttt totally true. I used to always make it a point to do some shoots that I was creatively involved in from head to toe as far as hair/makeup and clothes. Lately I haven’t been doing much of that and I totally missed it. Thats were this shoot comes in..THIS type of shoot is what I love to do. Ohh and if you follow me on twitter you might remember that I recently had a successful thrift store run.. both the gold shirts you see in this shoot are from the thrift store and so is the red jacket which I might add I bought for $2.99! score! ….Thanks to my cousin Harmony for being so cute!

After getting kicked out of the location I had scouted before we even started shooting we ended up at this little spot under an overpass. I was happy to find it and happier that Minyong and Robert were just chill about the whole situation! Im looking forward to their wedding this month!

By far one of my favorite weddings of the year. Mainly because Keith and Bryce did everything for this day!! From building the bar and benches all the way to designing Bryces wedding ring. They are stinking amazingly talented and so in love! I was so blessed to be apart of this day. Heres some of their shots!

After shooting their engagement session a while back we found out we went to the same church and knew some of the same people! Love it! The day of this shoot was the first time I met Bryan & Sam. I was greeted with huge smiles & hugs. They drove down from No.Cal for our shoot and their car was jam packed with stuff for the shoot! It was awesome. They totally styled everything and I thought they did an awesome job! We had alot of fun & they introduce me to dried mangos..heavenly!! Heres some of their photos..cant wait to be up north in a couple weeks for their wedding!

I really do have the most easy going fun loving clients and Lauren & Colin are no exception! They are laid back and fun to be around. They are funny and constantly laughing! loveess it! If you follow me on twitter..this was the sad day I saw Molly Shannon in the hotel lobbey and decided to get a picture with her on my polaroid. Bad idea…as soon as we took the picture, which by the way said it had 3 pics left…she walked away and no polaroid came out!! Only sad part of the day She did watch their wedding from the balcony though! ok ok heres the pics!

These are some of the sweetest people you could meet. Their love is genuine and their smiles are contagious!! I love them even more because they brought me sprinkles cupcakes on our shoot! gaaahh i die, soo good!! David actually proposed to Jane using sprinkles cupcakes, thats why they decided to incorporate them in our shoot Heres some photos! hope you all had an amazing holiday!

This year and last had been a rough for us. Lots of stress and lots of tears. We were brought to a place where we were broken spiritually, and physically drained. Jesus was our hope and nothing was going to change unless we were willing to give him our worries and grief. Crossroads could not have been brought into our lives at a better time. The friends we’ve made at Generate and the fellowship and growth that we’ve experienced are beyond words. To say we are blessed to be a part of this is a major understatement…MAJOR understatement. I felt that i had to start this blog with some of what we’ve personally experienced from our time there so that you can better understand the impact that Generate has had in our lives and others!
